Italian ISPs file complaint over wholesale broadband prices
David Goldstein
The Italian Association of Internet Providers (L’Associazione Italiana Internet Provider or AIIP) has filed an appeal to the president against local regulator Agcom and Telecom Italia.
AIIP believes that the wholesale prices for broadband services charged by Telecom Italia and approved by the authority for 2008 are excessive and not cost-oriented, as required by the current regulation, since they are based on estimates rather than actual measurements.
