Motorola’s Networks business has landed a contract from Taiwanese telecom operator First International Telecom (FiTEL) to deploy a WiMAX network in northern Taiwan.

Motorola has worked with FiTEL before and this is the second contract from this operator since WiMAX network deployment in 2008. This agreement reinforces the company’s expertise in WiMAX technology both in Taiwan and across the world.
